The final survey dataset, and inversions for the 2010 Cariewerloo AEM Survey traverse record processing conducted jointly by Geoscience Australia and the PIRSA Geological Survey geophysics team, have been released to open file. The survey was undertaken to delineate the unconformity at the base of the Late Mesoproterozoic Pandurra Formation, as this is a local geological setting with possible Athabasca Basin - style uranium mineralisation potential. The Cariewerloo traverses comprise 600 flight line km, flown along four lines that were located at irregular spacing west of the Flinders Ranges,so as to align with existing drillholes that intersect the Pandurra unit, and geological features of interest. The data herein released for the Cariewerloo traverses includes: (value adding Phase 1) contractor - supplied AEM data that has been quality-controlled and quality-assessed by Geoscience Australia, and which includes final processed AEM window data, ancillary information, and conductivity depth images derived using EM Flow; plus (value adding Phase 2) layered earth conductivity models derived using Geoscience Australia's layered earth inversion data; these models includes both sample-by-sample and line-by-line inversion products.
